The prediction and assessment of noise transfer is a common requirement across a variety of developments. AWN uses state of the art proprietary software packages (i.e. INSUL, Predictor & SONarchitect) to predict and assess the degree of noise transfer within buildings and to/from the external environment.

Common examples where the assessment of noise transfer is required are:

• Assessment of noise transfer from plant rooms to adjacent sensitive spaces in buildings;
• Assessment of mechanical plant noise on nearby sensitve locations;
• Assessment of entertainment noise breakout from venues;
• Assessment of inward noise impact on developments from external noise sources (i.e. road, rail and air).
