Wastewater Management

AWN personnel have many years experience of examining wastewater treatment plant operation from a process design and process chemistry approach, to determine why operational problems, such as poor final effluent or drinking water quality may be occurring.

Our approach includes the analysis of process kinetics, assessment of process chemistry and microbiology, and modelling of pollutant partitioning within the wastewater treatment system. We compare measured loadings and parameters with design criteria and calculate the changes necessary to solve the problems which may be occurring.
